All stuffs has been packed. Tight and clean. I only carry a messenger backpack, containing blanket, 1 day suit, 2 pack of needles, plus some other important thing just in case I needed it on the go. Plus one baggage to store all my belongings.

I am now ready to travel to Las Vegas. My first flight will be depart on this night at 11:35, followed by next three flights. You can read the whole story why I go to this city. One important thing to me, I am now had a good feeling about this trip.

I don’t expect as much as what I had in last year trip on the same contest. Of course, I am really look forward to win big or be a champion (what a dream! git ;-] ) But, I certainly believe I have prepared myself as good as possible for this trip. I don’t set any target or whatsoever, but, I assured to my self, I want to be a good designer.

Thanks for all supports, and pray, from everyone I personally knew or from everyone else. Either directly contacted me via email or just posted a comment on my website. These makes me proud about the journey of I am, to become a good designer. It’s such a hard and difficult pathway, as being a programmer, I was much in trouble to do design projects.

Please do not expect as much update until May 19, 2008. I do really hope I can make one or so updates, but please expect to following my twitter statuses about what’s going on me. I promise this will fairly updated it.

Gimana membuat gabungan beberapa foto menjadi satu atau sering disebut kolase foto ? Salah satu cara dengan menggunakan tools di Adobe Photoshop. Sebenarnya tidak ada trik khusus, tapi tanpa perhitungan yang matang terkadang penempatannya tidak simetris dan sering terjadi resize yang tidak seimbang, sehingga muncul efek “gepeng” atau bahkan “penyet” dari obyek di dalam foto.

Mari kita mulai :

1. Standart PS ukuran rulers adalah inches, sekarang kita ubah menjadi pixels melalui menu Edit–>Preferences–>Unit&Rulers, ubah nilai unitnya menjadi pixels.
2. Buat dokumen baru dengan ukuran yang diinginkan, kita coba dengan 400×400 pixels
3. Aktifkan rulers,snap dan extra melalui menu View, kemudin beri tanda cek pada Rulers, Extra dan Snap dan akan muncul disekitar kanvas.
4. Kita akan membuat 4 foto dalam satu kanvas, dengan demikian kita coba bagi kanvas kosong tadi menjadi 4 bagian dengan menarik rulers ke arah kolom 200 vertikal dan horizontal.
5. Ambil 4 foto yang akan dibuat kolase kemudian crop menjadi 195×195 pixels, kenapa tidak 200×200 pixels ? sisa 5 pixels digunakan untuk space antar foto, sehingga foto tidak terlalu berdempetan.
6. Setelah semua foto siap dengan ukuran 195×195, tarik setiafoto ke kanvas putih yang rulersnya masih aktif membelah menjadi 4 bagian kotak.
7. Atur sesuai dengan keinginan untuk membuat spasi antar foto menjadi lebih menarik, untuk mengubah warna spasi cukup mengganti background hitam menjadi warna warni.
